In this workshop you will create your own Christmas gift (with 800 grams of clay) This workshop is great for beginners.
You will learn basic hand-building and decoration techniques. You’ll get to chose from a variety underglaze to decorate your pieces the last 45 minutes of class. We recommend you come with some ideas for form and decoration. We suggest you choose a simple decoration.
Then, we do the rest, this includes a few steps. After you leave it with us, we let it dry for about a week and then it goes into the kiln.
After the fist kiln we put on a glossy transparent glaze and back into the kiln.
Did you know the kiln reaches 1000 Celsius! It can take up to 12 hours!
Your work will be ready in around 14 days to pick up. You will receive and email when it is ready.

Make sure to wear clothing you don’t mind to get dirty. Keep in mind clay does wash out.
Come with some ideas, but remember, if it is your first time it may not turn out just like the picture :)
