Welcome to Barro Cerámica, a ceramics studio in Gros, San Sebastián, where people come to learn, create and get their hands dirty.

Whether you've never worked with clay before or you're already a ceramic artist, our studio is a place to experiment, learn new techniques and make something with your own hands.

What is Barro Cerámica?

Barro is a 100 m² ceramics studio dedicated to clay and creativity.

We offer a range of pottery experiences, including:

That's completely fine.

Many of our students are beginners, and our workshops focus on learning the fundamentals while having fun.

You can learn how to build with clay by hand, try the pottery wheel, decorate ceramic pieces or take a longer course to develop your skills.

We don't expect your first piece to be perfect.

We want you to enjoy the process.

Barro has everything you need to work with clay, including pottery wheels, hand-building tools, glazes and an electric kiln.

Our studio is designed as a welcoming space where beginners can learn alongside people with more experience.

We also have a small gallery featuring local ceramics.

Private workshops and events

Looking for something different for a group?

We also organize private pottery workshops, team-building activities, birthdays, hen and bachelor parties, celebrations and other events.

Depending on the activity, groups can make their own ceramic pieces while spending time together in the studio.
