Come make a slab built vase or planter. This can be a medium sized piece, you will have 900 grams of clay.
You will also be able to choose the type of clay your would like to use, from a white, brown, black and sandy grey.
You will learn basic hand-building slab style and carving.
We will have templates available. Since you will decorate with the colored clay, if you add paint, it will be minimal.
Then, we do the rest, this includes a few steps. After you leave it with us, we let it dry and then it goes into the kiln.
After the fist kiln we put on a glossy transparent glaze and back into the kiln. Did you know the kiln reaches 1000 Celsius and can take 12 hours!.
It will be ready for pick up in around 14 days.
